Types of formation of spinning blanks
If parameters such as length, weight and test do not cause general controversy, then the concept of rod action has always been a topic of discussion. Even manufacturers, indicating this category, do not always get it right.
What is a spinning system. This is the reaction of the blank to the load during casting and fishing. In other words, you can visually see how much of the stick bends and how quickly the geometry returns to its original position.
Based on this, the action of spinning rods is classified into the following main categories:
- fast (Fast);
- medium (Medium or Moderate). The classification is Regular.

- Medium fast . Differs from FAST in increased deflection amplitude. Designation RF or MF .
- Medium (moderate fast) . Reacts 2/3 of the upper length of the rod. It is considered versatile, suitable for various types of fishing. Smoothes out mistakes of beginner spinning players. Apply the letter M or R .
- The slow (slow) . The geometry of half of the blank or the entire butt to the handle changes with flexible manufacturing materials. The restoration of the original form is as slow as possible. Letter designations: S .
Features of the use of various types of tuning
Based on the conditions of fishing, the fish caught and the equipment used, one or another type of rod is chosen. Which tuning is better for twitching or jigging, which is a “trucker”, and which is better for fishing from a boat?
Extrafast form
The ultra-fast action is characterized by a rigid and resilient blank for precise casts. A sharp and biting message is required. The small swinging amplitude of the stick is optimal in conditions of limited swing space. High-modulus graphite is used in the manufacture. The material is fragile and requires careful handling. Fast spinning
